Synopsis
An Orphan Girl. A Group of Wolves. A Destined Fate for War.
Don’t you ever wish to find where you belong? A place where you can rest your head without worrying about being jumped or your possessions being taken from you? Not like I had much, to say the least. A pendant, an ancient blade, and a picture of my murdered family were all I had left when I was five years old. Foster homes to homeless shelters, I never found a place of refuge. I simply didn’t belong, and everyone made it their duty to remind me of my predicament. Until I finally came across a place that felt like home. Sacred Moon Shelter for Endangered Wolves. I’d stumbled upon the sanctuary when I was near death, but I was miraculously saved. Since then, I’ve become a Wolf Tamer; the only one who can get close to touching the six rare breeds. When I’m with them, I feel safe and sometimes wish I could be like one of them and escape this cruel world. But such inhumanity strikes home, a group of hunters shows up, ready to take my wolves to an unknown place or murder them in cold blood. I won’t allow them to kill the only true family I’d ever known.
My name is Harper Blake, and I vow to claim and protect my own.

Wolf Tamer is a new Wolf Shifter Reverse Harem Romance. Recommended for 18+ Audiences.

EXCERPT
"This is Carter. He's the leader of the pack. He has anger issues." "WOOF!" Carter replied before he growled. Dolly ignored him, brushing him off like he was nothing. "Anyways, he is very protective and usually an asshole to everyone. He has his nice days, but essentially he's still an ass." "Dolly, I don't think you should be saying ass around Harper," Sam noted. I giggled. "Carter's an asshole." Sam sighed and Dolly blushed. "Um...don't say that word around other people. Only I can say it until you’re sixteen, you hear?" "Okay, Dolly," I replied with a wide smile. Reika and I were just happy we got to say it, loving how pissed Carter looked as he held back a growl. "Anyways, I'm going to show Harper around the rest of the place. Y’all be nice to her when I'm not around or y'all will be in trouble together. Understood?" The five of them howled in response; only Carter was quiet with his annoyed expression. "Carter," Dolly stressed. "Woof," Carter replied, looking like he didn't want to reply. Dolly sighed. "Good enough." "Meow!" We looked to our left as Muffin ran into the area. All six wolves looked at her, and she ran up to Carter and jumped up to scratch him on the nose.
"Uh Oh." Muffin darted back towards me, moving to hide behind me as Carter growled and took off towards Sam and me. "Carter, leave the cat alone," Dolly ordered. Carter skid to a stop, standing an inch away from me. I stood my ground, feeling a little more shocked than afraid, but Muffin hissed and tried to go for round two. I sighed, pulling my hand out from Sam's and moved fast enough to scoop Muffin midway of her attacking spree. "Muffin. Stop being mean." "Meow!" Muffin continued her hissy fit and Carter continued to growl, showing his sharp white teeth. Reika and I looked at him with a bored expression before I took two steps forward and, without thinking, patted his nose a little rougher than I should have. He stared at me with wide eyes, those mismatched ones locking onto me. I ignored Sam's and Dolly’s gasps and tried not to be distracted by Wolfie who was approaching us slowly. "Stop being mean too! Muffin is so tiny compared to you. Don't be a bully," I scolded before I looked at Muffin who stopped hissing to stare up at me. "And Muffin! No scratching the wolves. He didn't do anything to you. Mommy always told me not to fight battles you can't win. Don't be an asshole," I huffed. "Meow..." Muffin gave me a sulking look, and I hugged her to my chest as I gave her a quick pet on her head. I then looked at Carter who was quietly staring at me
